By using Astraya you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

What Astraya is
Astraya draws tarot cards and writes a reading about them using a language model. It is entertainment and self-reflection. It is not a prediction of the future, and it is not medical, financial, legal, or psychological advice. If something in your life needs a professional, please see one.
The AI readers in the app are fictional characters. They are not real people, they hold no qualifications, and they have no history of reading for anyone. Their replies are generated by software, and the app tells you so before you send your first message.
If you write something suggesting you may be in danger, the app shows crisis support information instead of a reading. That is a safety measure, not a service — please contact the listed help line or your local emergency number.
Who may use it
You must be 16 or older.
Your account
You can use most of Astraya without an account. Signing in with Google is required to subscribe, because a subscription belongs to your Google account rather than to a handset — that is what lets your Premium follow you to a new phone, automatically, the next time you sign in.
Keep your Google account secure. Anything done through a signed-in session counts as done by you.
Free use, and what Premium adds

Daily allowances reset at midnight in your device's time zone. The current allowances are always shown in the app before you pay for anything, and if we change them the app shows the new numbers.
Limits are enforced on our servers. Attempting to bypass them, to automate requests, or to resell access is a breach of these terms and we may end your access.
Premium subscription
Premium is sold as a weekly, monthly, or yearly subscription through Google Play.
- The price you pay is the one Google Play shows you at checkout, in your currency and including any local tax. We do not quote prices here, because they differ by country and by any promotion running at the time.
- Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period, at the then-current price, until you cancel.
- You cancel in Google Play, not in the app: Play Store → your profile → Payments and subscriptions → Subscriptions. Cancelling stops the next renewal; you keep Premium until the end of the period you already paid for.
- Refunds are handled by Google Play under Google's refund policy. We cannot take a payment or issue a refund ourselves, because we never receive your payment details. If you are in a country where the law gives you a right of withdrawal, that right applies on top of Google's policy.
- Premium is tied to the Google account you bought it with. Sign in with that account on a new device and your subscription is recognised automatically; there is nothing to restore by hand.
- If a payment is pending or fails, the app says so and no benefit is granted until Google confirms the purchase. You are not charged twice for a retry.
Advertising
The free tier shows advertisements from Google AdMob, including video advertisements you can choose to watch in exchange for an extra reading. Watching one unlocks the reading it promised. If the reward cannot be verified straight away, we do not take the reading from you — you can retry with the same reward. Your advertising consent choice is yours to change at any time in Settings → Ad privacy options.
Your content
The questions and notes you write remain yours. You grant us only what is needed to run the service: sending your question and the drawn cards to our language-model provider so that a reading can be written, and storing the resulting reading so the app can show it back to you. What is stored, and for how long, is set out in the Privacy Policy.
Your reading history is stored on your device and is capped at the 20 most recent readings. We do not back it up. Losing or wiping the device loses that history, and signing in does not change this.
Do not use Astraya to send content that is unlawful, that harasses or threatens anyone, or that you have no right to send.
Availability, and when the service degrades
We may change, suspend, or discontinue Astraya or any part of it. Language-model providers and advertising networks can fail or reach their limits, and when they do the app falls back to a shorter, pre-written reading — clearly marked as such — or asks you to try again later. A marked fallback reading is not a defect, and it is not presented as a reading written for your question.
Ending your access
You can stop using Astraya at any time, cancel your subscription in Google Play, and ask us to delete your data as described in the Privacy Policy. We may suspend or end access if you breach these terms, and if we do we will tell you why unless the law prevents us.
Liability
Astraya is provided as is. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any decision you take on the basis of a reading, nor for indirect or consequential loss. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
Nothing in these terms limits rights you hold under mandatory consumer law in your country, and nothing here excludes liability for fraud, death, or personal injury caused by our negligence.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of Vietnam, and disputes belong to the courts of Vietnam — except where the mandatory consumer law of your own country of residence gives you the right to bring a claim there instead.
Changes to these terms
If these terms change in a way that matters, the app shows you the new version before you carry on using it. The date at the top always says which version you are reading.

These terms are published in several languages. If a translation and the English version disagree, the English version prevails.
